I’ve uploaded my Fabric presentation to Sourceforge for anyone interested in this Fossil repo. I’ll be using it tonight and sharing the Fabric repo over Jitsi.
fabric.fossil repo, about 1.1 MB
Basically once you have the repo, copy it to a subdir and create a new subdir in it named “fabric” and change to that sub-directory.
Then (assuming you have installed fossil) enter:
fossil open ../fabric.fossil
This will recreate the exact data I used to make the presentation including files, flowcharts, pics and text etc. It’s a throw away directory, even the fabric.fossil is throw away and can be easily downloaded again if wanted.
Finally type:
fossil ui
This will open your webrowser in this repo webserver (ui) where you can see exactly what I’m using for my presentation and browse at your leisure. All the files and types are readable/viewable from your browser.
It’s a ‘one file’ documentation system about Fabric, and now it’s on Sourceforge, it’s there forever for anyone to use and even improve for themselves if they want to.
