I came across a YT short about Jellyseer and investigated this app yesterday. Jellyseer was a Jellyfin fork of Overseer but apparently the two have resolved in the last 12 months to develop Seerr jointly.
Seerr provides a way for non-technical users to search for and request movies and TV series. The request can be automatically approved or left to the administrator of Sonarr and Radarr to initiate.
Choosing the administrator download option may have advantages for disc space management and general suitability of the requested material. I also found it useful when the files I was downloading were reportedly English but were in fact for a different Korean language series.
It also has a notification system that I have yet to implement.
