After the ipv6 discussions on Tuesday night I tweaked my home network. This was a mistake in that I managed to crash all the vLANs on the Ubiquiti APs. A simple mistake easily rectified no doubt but it took me a few hours given my recent LAN reconfiguration and general lack of knowledge about ipv6 and vLANs. During the process, but in passing, I fired up opnsense on the N100 and then remembered @Belfry’s previous post.
Given all that, a safer place to continue my experiments would be to get my Draytek router to dish out a private ipv6 network to the N100 and play there. Any floundering on the rocks should not upset the significant other.
