I’ve gone ahead and booked a Chermside library meeting room for Feb 19.
I’d also like to book out the rest of the financial year. How does this plan look to everybody…

- Apr 23: Chermside
- May 21: Chermside
- Thu 18: Carindale
Most of us that like to come to these meetings are closer to Chermside, so i’m favouring that one.
If anybody on this forum is hoping that we’d book some meetings closer to them, please speak up. @ab23 (for example), i appreciate the effort that you make to join us at Carindale, but you might know of a library with good meeting room facilities closer to you. I’d like to book one or two meetings in libraries that we haven’t tried before.
I’d book these new venues in addition to the dates/venues that i’m proposing above. I’m hoping to add a new venue to the regular rotation in the second half of this year, but i don’t know what libraries can accommodate us, or if there are people in those areas that would like to catch up with us in person.
At the very least i’d like to just reserve those four dates/venues, but the prospect of adding something new into the plan is exciting, so i’d love to hear from anybody with new ideas. Feel free to DM me (here on Discourse) if you’d prefer.
