For those who attended my talk last night this is the Explain it Like I’m 5 from the LIghtning Network Resources page.
These are Start9’s and Umbrel’s home pages. If anyone is stuck doing a VM install I might be able to help them.
As discussed Alby has moved the user’s node into the cloud as Alby Hub. The user has sole control over the hub so Alby is not up damages if the node gets hacked. They charge about $13 per month after the 3 month half price introductory offer.
As demonstrated last night you can also run you own hub and it’s largely plug and play under start9 and umbrel.
